On June 14 and 15, the MAD GAMES SHOW event will take place at Matadero (Casa del Lector), Madrid, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Spain.
Mad Games Show is born from the alliance between the Spanish Video Game Association (AEVI) and the initiative of the independent video game fair IndieDevDay to create a multidisciplinary event around the video game sector in Madrid, featuring conferences, round tables, an indie game exhibition area (IndieDevPlay), and a networking and B2B space (Spain Video Games Investment Summit), managed by Meet to Match, with the participation of students, professionals, and the general public.
The Investment Summit at Mad Games Show seeks to create business opportunities for national development studios thanks to the MeetToMatch networking platform and the attending international investors and publishers. Additionally, the exhibition area (IndieDevPlay) will showcase over 40 projects from various companies and universities related to the video game development industry.
To promote talent, a 250-seat auditorium will host a program of conferences and round tables featuring experienced professionals in the sector, addressing highly relevant topics such as marketing, investment, and development.
The event will be free and open to the public. Studios wishing to showcase their games can also apply for a free stand, though the organizers will select the participants.
